OK Liesa; Here is another correction: Bill sent me another image. One of the bottom of the page which is missing from the image I have as <isaac_inquest-4.jpg>. It reads: "Dr. Joseph Leal Sloane; I am a Physician & have examined the wound (of the [crossed out]) of on the person of the deceased Isaac" next page A. Sacket, & think it is sufficeint to produce death." Isn't it amazing how a few additional words can blast a "neat theory" out of the water? Also: To answer Chris' question about the source; Bill sent me this: The source of the inquest was The County Clerk, Delaware CO, Delhi, NY I then asked Bill if there is a Book or File number and he responded with: "There was no book or file. After the 3rd time I was bugging the people in the county clerks, they send the "little old lady" out to see me. She asked what are you looking for? when I told her she took me down to the basement of the court house, back to an ill lite corner, went to the right file, pulled the inquest out and said; 'are you sure you want to read this?'
