    3. Thurmon, I took a look but did not have much time so did not get the whole record. I will get the rest of it when I come back the first week in March. What I can tell you is that there were three variations of his name. One was with only the names Skene and Douglas, the other two spellings I remember used all three names but I did not think to look at the differences. I originally thought I would only get a couple of pages do I did not make a copy of the front page with that information. I will get it when I get the rest of the record. I do have several of the pages and will try and get them to this weekend but make no promises. It might be after I get back in a week. I remember it did not indicate that the differences in the name were an alias or a substitution on the front page but there were several pages to his pension request so it is possible there will be something in the documentation that explains the differences in the names. Most of the time I have seen that they had to explain the difference. It actually looked like it was widows request but I am not sure about that. Anyway that is all I have for now on that. I have a couple more that I will try and ask some questions on before I leave. I left the stuff in my care though so it will be another email.
