Thurmon, I've been looking at some wills online on the Cornell University Website. They are abstracts of Wills filed at the Surrogate's Office, City of New York, as you probably know. I've seen it mentioned on the list before. These may be something that someone has looked at before but I'll post them in case they haven't. Weygant lists two children for #90, John Sackett and wife Phebe Burling, John and Justus. Listed in the will of Phebe's mother, Elizabeth Burling dated July 19, 1779, proved April 2, 1784,is the following; "I leave to my daughter, Phebe Sacket, my son Benjamin, and my daughter Martha Langdon, 100 pounds each. Unto my grandaughter, Phebe Sacket, 30 pounds. Unto my five grandchildren, Sarah and Elizabeth Sackett, Mary, Elizabeth, and Abigail Martin, all my household furniture." The will goes on to list all her children and none are married to another Sackett so it would seem there are three girls to add to the family of John and Phebe Sackett; Phebe, Sarah, and Elizabeth. Also; Weygant lists the death date for # 94, Samuel Sackett as September 29, 1780, on page 33. At the end of his will, in [ ] is a note stating that[Note. - Mr. Samuel Sackett died at Jamaica, Sept. 30, 1780]. I know this is only one day in a bigger picture but Samuel may have thought it was important. As I said, you may have this stuff already. Regards, Tom Smith
