They are not burning the data on CDs. Something like a giant ancestral file with snippets from census and other of their databases clipped in. Everyone can still search for free the WorldConnect trees. I think one of the motivators has to come from all of the complaints about the number of duplicate results that you get when you do a search on the databases. I am more concerned that lots of bad genealogy is going to be compiled together and people will get lazy and not do their own work. john.
