TSFA website www.sackettfamily.info has been updated today with the following databases: 1880 Census for New York City 1880 Census for New York State 1901 Census for England & Wales These pages are available via the Members' Area with the usual password. Please note that these are large pages and may be slow to load if using a dial-up service. It is believed (at least, this is the intention) that the pages contain all references to the surname Sackett (& variations), and also references to Sackett as a forename. There are some, but not many, extracts for descendants with other surnames. Research is by Thurmon King for the New York City censuses and by Chris Sackett and Marion Sackett for the English census. Identification is given by reference to Weygant numbers for some individuals in the New York censuses. However, not a lot of effort has been expended on this. It would be good if members would help with these identifications. May I suggest that members send in their identifications to the Sackett List. I will update the database at a later date. I will add data for other States over the coming weeks, concentrating on the 1880 census before going on to other dates. Regards, Chris Sackett TSFA Webmaster
