But I did a search for the surname SACKET/SACKETT at the Yates County site on USGenWeb and using the information there plus some census searches that Louella did for me and searching the World Connect databases I came up with quite a number of descendants of Thomas J. Sackett. However, I haven't been able to determine who he descends from. The 1850 census indicates he was born c1800 in Mass. His son, Richard married Lydia Barber [sister to Culver S. Barber].
