Thurmon (for database), Weygant correction (I don't think we've had this before, but apologies if we have)- While looking at the Sekket records unearthed by Blanche, I also checked out the Joel Secket = Elizebeth (sic) Husted marriage record (22 Jan 1795) in the IGI. This date fits with the list of Joel's children as recorded by Weygant (first child Nathan b. Nov 1796). Weygant had Joel's birth as 1786 but it is now obvious that this was a typo. I have amended my record for Joel as follows: Born: say 1774 (Weygant gives Joel's date of birth as 1786 (p114) but records his first child as being born in 1796 (p169). The 1786 date would be a typographical error, with the birth dates of Joel and his brother Isaac being confused.).
