Cherry, SACKETT-L is closed to non-subscribers to prevent spam. Your message bounced to me as List Admin. I have copied the list with this message so they may see how you relate. We would very much like to have you join us in our discussions and research. You will find information on how to join SACKETT-L as well as information on how to become a member of The Sackett Family Association (TSFA) at the following web site: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~sidersn/sackett/ TSFA was organized last year by over 70 SACKETT-L members to offer more energy to the preservation of what we have collected on the SACKETT family world-wide. Also at the site through the "Subscribers" link, you will see by the brief introductions how the majority of us relate to the SACKETT surname. You will see several UK lines. However, if you do not see your family line listed, subscribing to SACKETT-L and TSFA may just provide the opportunity later. Hope to hear from you soon! If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to contact me. She married Samuel JAKEMAN in Sept. 1855 St Pancras London, they had one son Edward Charles JAKEMAN in June 1856 born Islington, London. Samuel JAKEMAN died June 1857 in Islington, London. In 1860 Eliza JAKEMAN Widow, married my G-g-grandfather Robert CRAMPTON(cordwainer) in the Ebenezer Chapel, Ramsgate, Thanet, Kent. Eliza was the daughter of Edward SACKETT. Robert and Eliza CRAMPTON had a son Harry Robert in 1864. If there is anybody who thinks that they have any connections with the above family, I would be very pleased to exchange data with them.
