I have stated that Susannah Lyon (3rd wife of Alanson Lyon) was the mother to the wrong children. Alanson Lyon was married 3 times - 1st (unknown) wife begat one son, Ichabod; 2nd (unknown) wife begat: Alanson, Jr., Simeon, Frances W., Hiram, Mahala and Hortense; 3rd wife(Susannah Sutton) begat Andrew, Washington, Lucena, Arminda and Fanny. I had INCORRECTLY connected the 2nd wife's children to Susannah Sutton. My information comes from a copy of "The Lyon Family" which is in the Naples, N.Y. library. Sorry for the mistake and thanks to someone's inquiry about my posting.
