Jill: Mary Lou Sackett sent me the following in 2002 after she had visited Elba: From Mary Lou Sackett; 9-19-02 [picture attached] "... This one is Zilpha, daughter of Samuel & Jane Spaulding Sackett. She is buried at E. Elba (Springvale Cem.), Genesee Co., NY. She died age 5, January 01, 1828. All the Sackett stones were of the same slate material and all were breaking. Hers was in several pieces. <CLIPPED> I sent Jill Jesson Hernandez in So. Cal. several pages that I copied on her Barber line. There were a lot of her people in the same cemetery as little Zilpha - all around her. Mary Lou" The Samuel Sackett m. Jane [Spaulding] was born abt 1797 in VT and is believed by Mary Lou to have been a son of her Joseph Sackett, Jr. also born in VT.
