Kari: Thank you for the information. For FAMILY 414: The Minerva Sackett who married Silas Comstock is Weygant's #1510 Minerva Sacket daughter of #655-Benjamin Sacket and Betsey Eldred. [Weygant p. 158-159] Weygant does not show the 1st marriage for Silas and lists all the children as being children of Minerva. Although Weygant has Minerva's marriage date, he does not have the birth dates for the children which would account for his error. He also has the one of the daughters listed as Lucy A. m. ____ Carter which would probably be Abigail who married (1) William Carter and (2) Luther Brown. So we have several corrections to make for this family. For FAMILY 710: Emily Sybil Sackett is Weygant's #3752 Emily Sibyl Sacket, daughter of #1500-Justus Sackett and Mary Bradley. [Weygant, p 344] Weygant has the same three children but he does not show that [as Weygant has him] James James Henry Comstock was the same as James Henry Comstock, son of Silas Constock who married Minerva Sacket. More new information. It would be interesting to see what the Comstock Genealogy has for the family of Justus Sackett Comstock [FAMILY 895] Weygant shows him married to Phebe R. Sturtevant with three children; two of them married and one with children. It would also be helpful to have the information for the parents of Silas Comstock.
