Thurmon King, born in Love County, Oklahoma. My parents moved from Oklahoma to Yuma, Arizona, arriving there on Christmas Eve, 1941. Graduated from high school there in 1950, as a Yuma Union High School "Criminal" [The school originally started in the administration building of the old Yuma Territorial Prison.] Was married four days after graduating from high shcool. By 1981, we had lived in 31 different locations in Arizona, California, Nevada, Washington, and Oregon.
