    3. Dear Dave, I am forwarding your query to our mail list, to see if anyone has additional information. George Mitchell Phillips (1771-1838) is listed in our database with 10 children, all born in Mercer Co., Kentucky. The database is on our web site (sackettfamily.info) under the "Genealogy/Thurmon King's database" tab. 3. Hello Jean and Dave, Dave has contacted me earlier and I was unable to find anything in my notes that would help. After receiving this note I did a Google search and one of the hits is for the Find A Grave memorial for George Mitchell Phillips http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=70525932 This memorial has the same children listed as the ones I have in the notes for George in the database. It also has a link to the memorial for Susan and her's has a link to a memorial for her husband, William Dudley Baskett. The notes on Susan's and William's memorials have the following note: "In the History of Howard and Chariton Counties, Missouri, 1883, there is a record that William and Susan Baskett were original members of the Friendship Baptist Church. They are most likely buried at Friendship Cemetery." Google Books has "History of Howard and Chariton Counties, Missouri, 1883" among their digitized books. The reference to Susan Baskett and William Baskett is found on page 339: "Friendship church, about six miles north of Fayette, was organized May 9, 1829 by Elders Edward Turner, Ebenezer Rodgers, Thomas Turner, A. N. Bartee and Thomas Todd. The original members were: Benjamin Cook, Polly Cook, Wm. Cornett, Nancy Cornett, John Kirby, John Leach, Jemima Leach, Wm. Baskett, Susan Baskett, Samuel Fields, Elvira Gibbs, John Swetnam, Sarah Swetnam." As can be seen from the list above, the husbands and wives were listed individually. So it appears that William and Susan Baskett were charter members of the church in 1829. That is all that I have found to date. I hope it helps some.
