Sackett, Jr., age 75, of Fairless Hills, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at St. Mary Medial Center surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Philadelphia to the late Russell N., Sr. and Gladys Bickley Sackett. He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was an Electronics Technician for Leeds and Northrup. He is survived by his children, Lorraine Fleming and her husband Mark, Loretta Adams and her husband Daniel, Russell S. Sackett and his wife Christine, Eileen Bayer and her husband Joseph, Kenneth Sackett and his wife Josephine; his 14 grandchildren; and his sister Blanche Hall and her husband George. Relatives and friends are invited to Russ' Life Celebration Monday beginning 10a.m. at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Road, Philadelphia and to participate in his Funeral Service 11a.m. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Russell's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
