Potter, 74, Meyersdale, died suddenly Dec. 30 at his home. He was born July 21, 1897 in Ruggles, Ohio. The son of the late Robert and Julia (Sackett) Potter. Survived by his widow, Grace Miller. One daughter, Nancy wife of Hubert Walker, Frostburg, Md. Also three sisters, Mrs. Dorin Motter, Toledo, Ohio; Miss Loretta Potter, Cleveland, Ohio; and Mrs. Ralph Finney, Stowe, Pa. He was a retired lumberman and operated mills in Berlin (1932-41) and Meyersdale (1941-63). Member of the F.&A.M. 554, Blue Lodge Chapter, Harrisburg Consistory Scottish Rite, Altoona Jaffa and Uniontown Commandary and Somerset County Shrine Club. Charter member of the Meyersdale Elks. former director of the Meyersdale Community Hospital.
