My father is Lyle Arlis Sackett, son to William Sackett, son of Lucian Sackett, and then I can't seem to find the connection to his parents. I was told that he came from Canada, but no records to show this. There was also a tale of coming to America in secret, which may be why I can't find any records either. Was Arabella Sackett Lucinda Williams, Grandmother to Lucian or was Arabella Lucian's Mother? I am so happy you replied to my post I have tracked Lucian's wife's family back to England, and beyond into the 1100's but was road blocked by the Surname Sackett for the past year.
