Sackett in the 1850 census and it lists his place of birth as Connecticut. Since we know that Joseph is in the Cumberland County, PA militia during the RW and he also appears as a freeman in Cumberland in 1782. He is in Fannett township, Franklin County, PA tax rolls for 1786 and 1789. Franklin County was formed from Cumberland. A birth place given as connecticut and that coupled with the information that he doesn't fit into the censuses nor is there any coming of age shown in the tax rolls in Warrior's Mark makes it seems unlikely that he is Joseph's son.
