Mike and Alyce; It is intersting to note that there were a few families who migrated from Fayette Co., PA to Butler Co., OH and then to Sangamon Co., IL; namely, Clark, Campbell, and Sackett. Enos Campbell, Barzilla Clark and Aaron Sackett and his wife, Dorcas Clark, migrated from PA to OH. Aaron Sackett died in Butler Co., OH and Aaron's family moved to IL following his death in 1827. Enos Campbell [d. 1838] had a son, John N. Campbell who married Phebe Clark/Clarke. They had a son, Barzella Campbell who married Rosanna Sackett, daughter of Samuel S. Sackett, son of Aaron Sackett and Dorcas Clark [who appears to have had a brother, Barzilla Clark]. In the 1850 Census for Sangamon Co., IL Aaron's son, Samuel S. Sackett and his wife, Sarah Wickard are in the household of Barzilla Campbell [household 1485] while Aaron's grandson, Samuel Sackett and Margaret Campbell were enumerated two pages before in household 1468] I believe it is possible that Margaret Campbell was related in some way to the family of Enos Campbell and his wife Demaris Nowee. The short bio have for him indicates that they had 10 children and I have only 7 listed for them: "Enos Campbell was born about 1758, either in Scotland or near Trenton, NJ., soon after the arrival of his parents in America. He enlisted in the Revolutionary army at seventeen years of age, and served six or seven years, until the British army left the American shores. Mr. Campbell drew a pension to the end of his life. Enos Campbell and Damaris were married in New Jersey, and moved to Uniontown, Fayette dounty, Penn., where they had nine children, and moved about 1806 to Butler county, OH., where they had one child, and the family moved to Sangamon county, IL., arriving in the fall of 1835, in what is now Gardner township." The use of some of the names for the children is suggestive.
