Hi Thurmon, Yes, it has been a while since we have corresponded. I stumbled onto the Caroline Sackett information because the Goodman family also fits into my Duncan/Antle lines. I thought at first that Caroline and the Syrena Caroline Sackett from Samuel and his second wife were the same person. But I quickly found they were definitely two separate people. The Goodman's left Iowa for Oregon in 1865 with my Andrew Antle family. This is documented through a diary that was kept by Andrew Antle's daughter Elizabeth Roseanna Antle the entire trip. However, she never mentioned Caroline by name. I thought it is possible that since Caroline would have been in her 20's by 1865, she may have married in Iowa. If so, she may have remained in Iowa. I haven't been able to locate Tobias Goodman Sr. or Jr. in any census record after 1850. I am confidant that Caroline Sackett is the daughter of Samuel Sackett and Cyrena Goodman Sackett. I would think she died in childbirth or shortly after due to the date of her death and the birth year of Caroline Sackett. Here is what I have on Syrena C Sackett from the Samuel and Margaret Campbell marriage. I haven't located a death date or place yet. Possibly someone on the Sackett list has that information.
