Elizabeth and John were my GGG gradparents. Their daughter Margaret Christine Kern was my GG grandmother, her daughter Lillie May Baker was my great grandmother. I have a good deal of the data you mention, on my tree at Ancestry. I can invite you to it, and anyone else who would like to see it. There is also a tree I found today with information on Winfield Scott Sackett, who was another son of Samuel Sackett and Margarite Campbell. I submitted the estate record of Samuel Sackett, which I ordered from Macon County, MO, to the Sackett site not too far back. I have been doing so many things with other lines that I have not had a chance to see if that was posted. Emma Kern, the daughter of Elizabeth Sackett and John Kern, is mentioned in it by name, to get a little bit more of the estate than "her brothers and sisters." Her mother was dead, so she and her siblings divvied up her share. When Elizabeth Sackett Kern died is still a mystery to me and others from her line who have done research. It was before 1880, as the children are scattered and John is a widow. However, Loretta Agnes Kern, her daughter was born in 1878, so she died or vanished sometime between Loretta's birth and the 1880 census. Also you mentioned Enos Sackett's three children. Roy Sackett, you mention as having died in 1901. This is not the case. I have seen this year mentioned before. However, he left Missouri and ended up on San Fransisco. He died in California, and the record is in the California death index, where his mother is listed as Farrar. Enos had a saloon in Moberly Missouri (in Randolph County Missouri, which is due south of Macon County where Samuel lived out the last years of his life), and Roy seems to have tried to keep up the business. I wish I had more NUMBERS in front of me so I did not have to give these details in anecdotal form. I am happy to invite people to my Ancestry tree, or to give them the more specific information in some other format. Since Elizabeth Sackett Kern's line is mine, I am also appreciative of feedback people can give on the data I have, offer corrections, and what I have is certainly most welcome to interested parties here. To cut down on traffic on the group e-mail, I would suggest that communication regarding requests (i.e. if you did not have more data for the group at large in your correspondence) for info I have be e-mail directly at greekspeak at comcast dot net. Again, glad to see Samuel and his children come up in the group mails, and the data I have I am more than happy to share! :-) Mike Fisher
