I have copies of the death certificates for Thomas, Katie and their son George. Katie's death certificate gives her birthplace as French Village, Ills. Her father's surname is given as BOYER. However, the certificate of her son, George gives his mother's maiden name as Katie ROYER. As I stated in my previous note; the death certificate of Thomas gives his parents as Chas. Sackett and Sarah Hamilton; both born in Illinois. Thus far, I have been unable to find him or his parents in the 1870, or 1880 census. So I have been unable to determine where this family connects with anyone in my database. If you have anything relating to his parents it will be greatly appreciated.     3. Thurmon, We are also trying to find the parents of (Ebenezer) Charles Sackett, born 1835 died April 24, 1863. Since your note was written in January, I am wondering if you have been able to make any progress on your end. Our Ebenezer C. Sackett is the father of Thomas E Sackett 1859-1920. I found the marriage of Ebenezer Sackett to Susanah Hamilton. Still no luck if determining who the parents of Ebenezer were.
