Thurmon, Not much luck yet on Johnnie Hendricks, but here are some records on Guy W. Sackett, and the 1930 census includes Johnnie. Guy's first wife may have been Lillie Pfisterer (see the marriage record at the bottom). Apparently Guy was in prison in both 1920 and 1930. What on earth did he do?? It may be Lillie who divorced him during that prison sentence. If you want more info from any of the census records, I can go back and transcribe them fully. He worked on the construction of tunnels in New York City and retired from Pantex corporation in Amarillo, Texas in 1981. He was an active participant at St. George Episcopal Church, where he enjoyed lay reading and fellowship with other believers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy W. Sackett, Sr., his father, and Edith Mildred Wilson, his mother and by his eldest daughter Susan Beaulieu. Survivors include his daughters, Cary S. Hestad (Arnie), Martha K. Jackson, and granddaughter Kristen A. Kehl, grandson Charles A. Beaulieu and great grand children. Also many friends who will miss him. Sackett, Sr.; 2) The wife of Guy W., Sr is given as Edith Mildred Wilson and one of the husbands of Della May Hendircks is given as Joseph Wilson. However, the information for Guy Sackett in Indiana doesn't seem to leave room for him to have also been in Florida. Thurmon

It is beginning to look as though he managed to get around. With him being an inmate in Jeffersonville, Clark Co., IN in the 1910 census and then an inmate in Putnamville, Putnam Co., IN in 1920 and then more problems in Dec. 1921. Therefore, it looks like he married in Marion Co. after he was released from Jeffersonville. Then, before, or after he became an inmate at Putnamville, his first wife divorced him. Then, according to the 1930 census, he had married Della M. Hendricks. And tracing Della M. Hendricks through her multiple marriages and apparant inaccurate information is even more "fun." There are no Sacketts left in the area. J. L. Sackett, b. 12-20-1831 d. 1-1-1899, Eliza J. Sackett b. 10-8-1838 d. 5-3-1929, Montie Sackett b. 9-16-1866 d. 2-11-1893, Jas. L. Sackett b. 7-14-1877 d. 11-18-1917, George R. Sackett b. 12-8-1878 d. 3-17-1918, Mattie Jewell Ross Nee Sackett, The only lady Railroad telegraph to operate a manuel interlocking plant. If these names match up in anyone's family tree, please let me know, would love to know some more about this family.
