    2. Blocking Dave from email is NOT an acceptable solution for all. I previously mentioned I have an iphone that received email, as I am sure many have similiar devices. You can not block emails when using such a device. I have over a hundred bounced back messages from this person. I understand that this is not a "administer problem", but an individual problem. However, I would think that this type of email would be similar to a spam; why is there not a catch for Spam emails in the Admin group link? ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, July 25, 2009 10:05:49 AM GMT -08:00 US/Canada Pacific Subject: Re: [SACKETT] out of the office Just block email from Dave.  Easy solution. > [Original Message] > From: [email protected] <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> > Date: 7/25/2009 8:25:40 AM > Subject: Re: [SACKETT] out of the office > > Oh and a PS: > > I just set up a filter to delete all messages coming from his email > account.  If you can do that then you got it whipped. > > > > [email protected] wrote: > > I wonder if they set the oof message to reply all triggerring it when ever an email arrives. > > > > Sue > > ------Original Message------ > > From: BJ Fairbrother > > Sender: [email protected] > > To: [email protected] > > ReplyTo: [email protected] > > Subject: Re: [SACKETT] out of the office > > Sent: Jul 25, 2009 9:22 AM > > > > I too am getting abit sick of the message.Yesterday I had fourtytwo, today - so far- fourtyone copies of being "out of the office".Can anyone stop this craziness ?? 3. I have emailed Sandy Berry to have her unsubscribe Dave's email address until he returns on Aug 10 and see if he wants to be resubscribed. As has been pointed out by others, Dave set his email program to respond to all emails which means that his program has been responding to his responses on the SACKETT mailing list. Unsubscribing his email address is the only way to stop the emails. 3. Guys Dave is as he said out of the office and of course every time he sends an email we get one too. I think though that he has been removed until his return, as there was no replies from his account with the last two posts. Unfortunately these all happened very quickly and was a big domino of one message being sent and his auto reply sending a message which then prompts his out of office to send another message, since you cannot expect the list admin to sit watching the site all day sometimes these things can get out of hand. I am sure Dave did not mean this to happen and will also have these 100 emails in box when he gets home and will hopefully realize to unsubscribe when he goes out of town next time.
