This list can be a tremendous help to all of us if we will be careful to cite our sources when we pass on information. Of course, original documents are the best, but secondary sources are better than nothing. I suspect most of us got a lot of our information from Ellsworth Marshall Rust's book (or the microfilmed version from the Mormons). Maybe we could agree to use the convention "EMR + page number" for references to it, to save a few keystrokes. I hope we can connect--I haven't been able to identify Frances PULLEN Yerby's parents yet. She was born in Richmond Co, VA, near Warsaw, probably before 1800. Letter from Adela Beale YERBY Lefevre to her son Arthur LEFEVRE Jr. (undated; written between 16 Oct. 1937 and 30 July 1940), in possession of Kathleen Much: "Pa's father, William Garland Yerby, married Frances Pullen, who died near Upperville [Fauquier Co, VA] 1867.
