Dear John, It's good to hear from another Rust descendant of the old fellow, William Rust of Westmoreland Co., VA. In my line, Elizabeth Cox married Samuel Rust, sometime before 1743. She was the daughter of Charnock Cox, (1675-1751). Charnock Cox was the son of Vincent Cox, b. 1633 England, d. 26 October 1698. According to E. M. Rust, your Anne Rust was an aunt of my aforementioned Samuel. His father, Jeremiah Rust, was a brother of Anne. If I can be of help to you, let me know. I have documented my Rust of Westmoreland Co. until it meets with my Edmonds family in Fauquier Co.. I'm keeping your info for further study. I'm new on line, too.
