Hello to all: Am searchng for my gt grandfather's heritage: William Hunter, born in Pskov, April 12 1870, left Bremen Germany July 29, 1893, Arrived New York August 12, 1893, went to Alaska, then became citizen in Illinois in June of 1919. He probably was uniate Orthodox. My big question: William Hunter is not a Slavic name! How would his name have been translated into Hunter? thank you to all!
