Hi Everyone I am new to this list and would like some help please. I am trying to locate and record of my great great grandfather George Jaffray who saw active service in the Russian war around 1858. This is when he left Abderdeen Scotland where he was born. I think he could have served in the Lancers? I would appreciate anyones help on where to look for these records.
