I found this on the Social Security Death Index, if you write them and send 7 dollars you will get his social security number and it will tell where in Russia he was born and it will give his parents name. Also if he always lived in Brooklyn, try and find his naturalization papers, they give all kinds of information on them, it has a place on it too where and what boat he came in on. Just print out the form that is down below and send it to them. It will take about 4-6 weeks to get it.
