    3. I have a odd question finding out if my great grandfolks were from Russia or Poland. On my grand mom birth ceritificate, It says her paretns were born in Russia. His name was Jacob M. Green/Greene and she was Rosalie Drisba. On his Naturalization papers, it also says Russia and the Czar Nicholas II. However, I hired a genealogist in the place they lived in the United States, and he has found that they were both born in Poland. In fact he is buried in St Mary cem in Norwich, CT and she in St Joseph., she had remarried when he died in 1909 and her second husband was Polish. Jacob is not in the 1900 census though he came here in about 1890 or so. Where should I look to clear up this dilema? Can he legally give up allegiance to the Czar if he was Polish? Any help is welcome. Cordially, James M. BURTON. ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
