Carpatho-rusyn site has excellent info and some census data on line and great historical info and maps. My husband's grandfather left Volovec, Galicia and came to US in 1905. Came over on the ship Francesca on the Austro-Americana Line (Adriatric ports to NY). Left from Trieste, Austria.
