Dear List, I have not been actively researching Russell's lately but rather watching, hoping to catch someone else posting for some of my ancestors. I haven't read anything in a long time on my branch of Russells so will post them. I will start with John Russell b 1758 since there is a difference of opinion as to who John's father was. John was married to Rachel Hobbs. I am descended from their son, Vincent b. 1790 and Martha Hardy Russell, and their son, William Hardy/Hardin Russell b 1822 and Eliza Atton Thompson. My descendancy goes on down through their son, Albert Thompson Russell b 1859 and Mary Jane Sitton. My grandfather was Isaac Jerome Russell b 1891 (9th child of Albert and Mary Jane) and my grandmother was Dulcie Venita Love b 1892. I would love to hear from any descendants of this family so that we can compare notes and research.
