Well......here I host the Noxubee county Ms. site for MsGenWeb...and I miss the obvious! 10 Jan 1836, Gibson Russell marries Zenolia Crawford, Book A, page 23, Noxubee county, Ms. I will be looking thru these records I have here at home and picking out "more" Russell info to share with all of you. Maybe I need to research "my own" county a bit more, I might find the proof needed?? Just for the record...I think I found a Caleb Russell over in Wise County, Texas in the 1880 census, too. (I have the CDs...and if you have a need, let me know.) My tie is thru Martha Russell, b. abt 1798, who married Charles Watson. Thru some of you, I now believe my first "hunch" that those Russell over in Perry County, Ms in the 1830 census were in fact "family", most likely her brothers. Would some nice soul help me fill in some blanks on Martha's family? One of you has already sent me some info that I am studing. Has anyone noticed that the Caleb Russell (Sr.?) is nineteen years younger than his "brother" John Russell? There must be other children in that family somewhere, or, John IS his father?? Hudson (my grandfather). Daughers carry "family" names, Sarah "Sally" Watson Hudson, Martha Ann Hudson. There were other children, but these names seem to follow the Russell names.
