Our John F. Russell, son of William, was born in 1829 in New Jersey, married Melissa in Indiana, about 1850 and raised his children (Hattie, Fred and Carrie) in Minnesota. I do not have his death date. His father William may have died in Iowa in 1850. Sorry, we do not seem to be linked with your Russell family.
