Russell and Nancy (Row) Russell, they show up to be on the 1850 Census in Alabama, Cherokee Co., they list as their family> John M. Simpson William F. Narcisa James M. Both Joseph and Nancy have a marriage certificate that show that they were married in Cabarus Co. on Dec. 14, 1831, she is a little older and he was born around 1810. All except the youngest two were born in N.C., from Alabama they moved to Ak. and to Ok., James the youngest served in the civil war on the Confederates and his brother Simpson served in the Union. I have all the records on their military service.
