Does anyone know how to find them on a map? Any one know much about this area during 1800? Thank you in advance. We have a number of baptismal records, including information from 1937 putting this Russell family in the Drimoleague area. My Patrick Russell b abt 1817 migrated to US about 1845 and migrated to Houston Co., Minnesota by about 1853, along with his brother James. My great grandfather, Henry Russell settled in Flandreau, Moody Co., S.D. we have good information back to Drimoleague, but lack migration data, marriage data (for Patrick Russell b1817). He apparently married in VA about 1845. His wife, Ellen McCarthy appears to have come from west of Skibbereen area.
