My Albert Russell was born maybe in 1843 in Ohio and certainly died in the Soldiers and Sailors home in Quincy, Illinois, on May 12, 1916. He married Celia Fox in 1867in Wapello County, Iowa (Ottumwa and Eddyville). Albert was a soldier through most of the Civil War. In the last part of his life he and his family lived in Wayne County, Iowa, in and near Allerton. Does any of this connect with your family?
