Born Oct. 3, 1915 in Broken Bow, Okla., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rosie Frye Kimes. She married S.J. ( Bill ) Russell in 1934 and he survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Linda Bowman of Golden, Colo., Mildred Haines of Vermont, Nora Colbert of Washington, Mo.; five sons, Guy Russell of Fayetteville, N.C., Roy Russell of Ivor, Va., Ralph Russell of Batchtown, Steve Russell of Waverly and Frank Russell of Mountain Grove, Mo.; one sister Madeline Sullivan of California; one brother, William Kimes of California; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She was proceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jane; and several brothers and sisters. The funeral will be conducted Thrusday, April 1, 2002 at 10 a.m. at Kirks Funeral Chapel of Bowling Green, Mo. Burial will be in Bowling Green Cemetery.
