Russell of Cooper County, Missouri? John was from virginia, county of birth unknown to me. Sarah R. was born in Ivor, Southampton County, Virginia. Her given name was Sarah Rebecca Lamb. She first married James Story Holt in 1855 and they lived near Newwsomes Depot, Southampton County. They had two surviving children before James died of pneumonia in January 1863 while serving in the CSA. She remained on their farm and ho bought over 160 acres in Camden County, Mmissouri in 1872(?). Any info. would be great.
