Wednesday, June 12, 2002 PALMDALE, Calif.-Kevin David Russell, 39, formerly of Gilford, died May 23 in California. He was born in Manchester. He worked as an avionics specialist for American Airlines. He loved the outdoors, motor biking, skiing, fishing, boating and NASCAR. Survivors include his parents, David and Barbara Russell of Gilmanton Iron Works, and Mary and Paul Washburn Jr. of Nokomis, Fla.; a son, Holton Russell of California; a brother, Brian Russell of Moultonboro; a sister, Heather Russell Burke of Kennebunk, Maine; a grandmother, Carmen McDonald of South Portland, Maine; his fiance, Kimberly Johnson; and nieces and nephew. Memorial services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Ellacoya State Park Beach on Lake Winnipesaukee. Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are. This is here as a lasting memorial for Mr. Russell.
