I've seen her birthplace tentatively listed as Middletown, NJ, or as Stanhope, NJ -- but mostly I've seen her listed with no birthplace indicated. What I know for sure is that she married Levi Ayers (II), who was born in 1762. He was the son of Levi Ayers and Temperance Wicks/Weeks, a family from the Woodbridge, NJ area. This family later moved to the Wantage, Sussex Co., NJ area. I noticed that one of the wives was named Phebe, but this set of parents may be too early for my Phebe. The son's family group does not list a daughter named Phebe, but there may have been other sons as well. ANY HELP APPRECIATED. The Russell line has been a roadblock. Sue
