I am looking for a marriage for Jane Turley. She was born about 1775-80. Her parents were John Turley and Martha. Her parents were living in Pittsylvannia County Va until the early part of 1800. Jane is in Kanawha County Va (WV after it became a state) in 1809. She is on the 1810 Census of Kanawha listed as head of household and she is in the age bracket of 26-45. She has several children two of which are listed as 0-10 years of age. She is also listed on the 1820 and one of these children who was 0-10 is still that age. I have checked Pittsylvannia County and there is no record of her marriage. I believe she named one of her sons David and another Peyton. I believe the Peyton was after a Turley relative. Could those of you who have Va Russell connections please check to see if you might have a possible husband for this Jane. Or maybe some idea of what might have happened to him?
