He worked on the railroad and was in Cape Breton at one point in his career. He had 11 children. Married to Abegail Julien Griswold Mercereau. He was born in 1849 and died in 1943. We don't know much about him or his siblings/parents. He might have come over from England. Might there be a connection to Clam Harbour? Dave
