I'm trying to find everyone that come down from Thomas Russell who was the son of William Madison Russell. I'm trying to add to my information on all the children of Thomas and Rhoda Allen Russell. Thomas was born in 1803 in Georgia, married Rhoda Allen B. 1801 in Georgia and lived at Poplins Crossroads in Bedford Co., Tennessee. This family of Allen was not related so far as we know to the Cyrus Newton Allen, husband of Lucy Russell. We know Thomas and Rhoda had these children: A. James born 1822 in Georgia (My line) B. Sarah born 1823 in Georgia married Mr. Brown (We know nothing of this line) C. William Madison born 29 Nov 1825 in Tennessee (We have this line) D. Nancy J born 1828 in Tenn, twin to Mary J. (Know nothing) E. Mary J. born 1828 in Tenn, twin to Nancy J (Know Nothing) F. Elizabeth born 1830 in Tenn and marr William Neely (I think I have) G. Lydia born 1833 in Tenn (I know nothing) H. Beulah (Beatie) born 1837 in Tenn Marr Mr. McElwrath (I know nothing) I. Martha born 1838 in Tenn (Know nothing) J. Margaret born 1842 in Tenn died in 1907 marr: N. M. Wheeler (not much known) I would like to know more about her little family K. Thomas born 1843 in Tenn; twin to Elijah Allen; died in 1863 in Battle of Chickamauga L. Elijah Allen born 1843 in Tenn Twin to Thomas Married Virginia Ann Stewart (I Have) If you by any chance come from one of these lines and you know more then I do please write to me so I can update my genealogy. I'm wanting to add to my Russell booklet that I'm making aobut our Russell's. I'm trying to put this all together into my Genealogy program and then make a book out of it for my family. In the Book Russell and Kindred Family there wasn't much about my line from Thomas down and that is what I'm wanting to write about. My father was named after his grandfather who was David Allen who was the son of James Carroll Russell who was the son of Thomas. David Allen also went by Elijah David Allen on some of his legal papers so he even had his uncle name. But most of the time he went by Allen. So if there is anyone out there that can help me please send me your genealogy as a word document or something like that so I can print it out and study it and put it into my genealogy program.
