I'd like to find some members of the large family of Alonzo Haventon Russell, 31 Jul 1821 in Royalton, Windsor, Vermont, USA, a descendant of John Russell and Sarah Champney. Alonzo was a early Mormon missionary. Based upon a dna kit submitted by one of Alonzo's descendants to the Sorenson DNA project, it seems as if he is a match to several more recent dna submissions which are all very similar and are shown as Russell lineage I at the Russell dna project: http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/r/russell/results.html All of these Russell lines appear to have had a Common ancestor somewhere in England, probably, and several modern Russells are working together on finding the link.
