I have been trying to fine parents and/or siblings to John S. forever, it seems My John S. was born 1815 in what is now known as Marion County, AL. I just recently learned that there was no Marion County, AL. until after 1819 (I believe that date is correct). that area belonged to the state of MS. I think one of the reasons it is difficult to find the Russells and others is because they didn't move so much as the territorial lines moved. I don't know where to look for my people.I was hoping that you William O. could be a sibling of my John S. there is no way to be sure. Your William has children named (John and a Lucy Amanda) that caught my eye because my John S has a son named John T., William, and a daughter named Lucy A. and also the location of Williams birth, the year of his birth, and so I was hoping, but I don't know the Parents name or any of John's sibling, so there is no way to be sure. this is called clutching at straws sorry, didn't mean to be long winded, but was hoping Thank you for your time Donna RUSSELL Davis
