Russells listed at: http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi If your Andrew had a son born in 1841, then you can estimate that he married about 1840 or sooner. You can figure roughly that he might have been at least 21 years old giving him an estimated birth date of about 1819 and the the wife a couple of years younger about 1821. Since the son is born in Boone Co., MO you can check the 1840 MO census index, esp. at Ancestry.com http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/census/ais/main.htm for Andrews in that or nearby counties. People in MO in that time period usually came from East to West, etc. Sometimes you get better results if you estimate ages and time periods and if you ask for what steps to take next. Many people are glad to offer ideas and methods. It is often just luck to find someone that has data that you need. Also look for the wife's family. She may be listed as Eleanor, Ellie or Ellender. Bride's family will usually be in county at the time of the marriage since women in those days either lived with family or husband's family.
