I have been searching for several years-found very little information. I am searching for any information on William O. Russell-b.1800-1801.Married Jane ( Possibly Brewton )Jane b. 1810 d. 1891. They were married in July 1829-probably Franklin Co. AL. They lived in Alabama until after 1842. Moved to Tippah Co. MS. before 1846 where they were still living in 1860 according to census.They had the following children: Catherine b. 1837 in AL. William H.H. - b. 1841 in AL. Lucinda L.C. -b 1842 in Al. Mary F. b. 1846 in MS. Agnes A.- b. 1848 in MS. Amanda C.-b. 1850 in MS. John C.C.- b. 1852 in MS. This is John Calhoun Russell Rufus P. -b. 1858.in MS. John Calhoun Russell b. Oct 1852-d. April 1943-married: Lucy Amanda Newby b. April 1851-d. Aug. 1935. John & Lucy lived in Union Co., MS and are buried there. Looking for any information on any of these children- but especially info on William O. Russell. and who his Father was. John Calhoun Russell is my GGrandfather. Thanks- Bill Roach
