Have sent your posting to Jean Hoggle. (The great Russell researcher of all times.- in my eyes) She is related to John Sr. and I am related to Caleb Sr. We have always felt that Gibson was one of the sons of John Sr. and brother to John, Caleb, and Andrew. My Caleb Sr was born 29 Aug 1779 in Maryland and married Nancy Grady in Columbia Georgia.Owned land in Jackson Co., Ga before heading to Alabama territory. (Possibly the same as the Caleb Russell on Jackson County, GA 1810 Tax List with Andrew (ca1785) Russell. [p. 66] Possibly two Calebs listed on the same page. Lists not available for 1814-1816. Not on 1817 list.)
