Died Oct 1, 1878 in Bell Co., Texas. They had 5 children: Thomas Lamar Russell (b. Feb. 4, 1850 in DeKalb County, Alabama d. May 28, 1931 in Florence, Williamson County, Texas) have death certificate showing father as Walter Russell; Martha N. Russell McBride (b. Calhoun Co. MS March 26, 1852 - d. Brownfield Co. TX April 21, 1932) (married Hamlet MCBRIDE). Death certificates shows father as Walter Russell; William H. Russell (b. Aug. 1854 in Calhoun Co., MS d. 1940 in Williamson Co. TX) Do not have death certificate; James Pearson Russell (b. Apr. 16, 1957 in MS - d. Jan 1, 1954 in Lampasas Co., TX) Have death certificate showing father as Walter Russell.
