Hello, I notice a lot of new action on the Russell list. I was wondering if anyone is researching Russells in Kanawha County WV? I would also like to know if any of the people who research in Gallia County Ohio have ever made a connection with the Russells of Kanawha County Ohio? My great great grandfather Samuel Russell was born about 1820 and his mother was Elizabeth (unknown) Russell and he stated on the 1880 Census that his father was born in Ct. I have noticed over the years that some of the Gallia County early Russells immigrated from Ct to Ohio. I just wondered if anyone had a clue or a guess? I have been told that my Samuel Russells father was Spencer Russell. I cannot find any proof of such. Thanks so much Pat in Florida
